Kansas City public school teacher’s dedication rewarded with historic Midland Loft
What was supposed to be about a class pet cow turned into something entirely more exciting for one metro teacher on November 20. Brooke Wurtz, a Faxon Elementary School educator, was surprised to learn she’d been chosen among more than 100 teachers to receive a rent-free condo at the corner of 13th Street and Baltimore Avenue for two years.
